Keeping the Lights on: PG&E

Linemen are the hardest workers in the field, but they don’t do it alone. Energy companies are out there paving the way to keep the energy flowing, safety measures in place, and the public educated about electrical safety and aware of their own usage.

Clean Innovation

As for PG&E and many other electric utility companies, they also continue in their efforts to reduce energy usage and cost. One way they’ve made this happen is with their introduction of innovative new electric hybrid utility trucks. Read more about their new hybrid vehicles.

Continued Excellence

At Bevins, we work for excellence. It’s become a tradition for us to work hard to make the best tools to protect linemen and increase their efficiency on the job.

That’s why we were more than pleased when the U.S. EPA recognized PG&E, an Energy Star Partner since 1995, with a 2013 Energy Star Partner of the Year-Sustained Excellence Award for the utility’s continued leadership in protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency.

“PG&E leads the field with its commitment to energy efficiency and demonstrates how all Americans can save energy, save money and create a healthier environment,” said Bob Perciasepe, acting administrator for the EPA.
