Linemen Movie: Life On the Line
Another potentially great linemen movie starts production this week. This time the story – “Life on the Line” – is about a lineman who is left to care for his young niece as he and his crew struggle through storm season.
The great part is, everyone will see more of the life of a lineman as they work this dangerous high-wire job keeping our lights on, systems running, and our electrically-run world from pretty much collapsing.
“The last film made in and around the lineman industry was in 1937, Slim the Lineman, and starred Henry Fonda,” said Marro Films CEO Marvin Peart.
