National Public Power Week
This week, we take the time to say Thank You! to all of you who work daily to keep the lights on, the power running and the grid in check. Without public power – and the workers who keep it up and running – our homes, jobs and safety would come to a crushing standstill.
Each year about this time, you get a little bit of notice. A tiny fraction of the attention you deserve for the heroic work you accomplish. It’s not enough. But it’s something.
So one more time. Thank you. For all you do. And know that your work is appreciated.
