The Winner

The winner of the Drivin’ for Linemen 200 Race this year is Cole Custer of JR Motorsports driving a Chevrolet. The race takes place in honor of the many linemen who work every day to keep the power coming to the rest of us and especially to those who have given their lives on the job.

In honor of the fallen, the flag was raised in tribute.
Raising the Flag

The race has brought the developers of this campaign in contact with leaders in the industries surrounding the work linemen do to become the first industry-supported team in NASCAR last year.

For Bevins Co., it was a spectacular weekend of racing, honoring the fallen, encouraging the brave, and making the work of electrical linemen something to be recognized.

Take a look at the officer below, welcoming us to the park.

The Drivin’ For Linemen Campaign

This group of good people started with one electrical linemen whose concern and priority was to honor all linemen – past, present, future and fallen. His desire to educate the public on the risks linemen take, the hours they keep, and the sacrifices made by them and their families drove him to create this race.

Thanks to the Drivin’ For Linemen Campaign joining The Fallen Linemen Organization, linemen are now listed as first responders and celebrated throughout the NASCAR world through the MAKE Motorsports Team at the Gateway Motorsports Park.
