Why We’re Thankful for Linemen and Tower Crews
It’s that time of year again.
The Lineman Rodeos are over, and the cold weather has set in for the long haul. For most of us, it’s a little inconvenient – remembering our coats or having to scrape our windshield before heading to work in the morning.
For linemen, the short days make for more difficult work. The cold makes wearing gloves, hats and extra layers a crucial step in getting the work done.
When the weather systems bring snow, ice and freezing rain, most of us huddle up and hope the power stays on. Linemen are strapping on the safety gear and kissing their loved ones good bye.
This Thanksgiving, we’ve already got bad weather cramping travel and family plans. And we know line wives have already watched their husbands get the call right before the big day.
As you, once again, gather your gear and lower your head to battle the winds and weather, we want you to know that what you do does not go unnoticed.
Bevins Co. works every day to create products that make your work safer and more efficient, so we know what heroes you are.
But the rest of the world is starting to notice as well. Movies, clothing lines, race cars.
You’re starting to become the next big thing.
We just want you to know that we have your back, we’re proud of you.
